India-born, Suuchi Ramesh, moved to the U.S. about ten years ago to work in the technology industry. While living in America, she found it difficult to find professional clothing to fit her small frame. She quickly realized that if she was having trouble, other people probably were as well. It was then that Ramesh decided to become a business owner.
In 2015, Suuchi, Inc. was launched, and Ramesh knew the challenges she faced. With more than 97% of clothing and 98% of shoes being manufactured outside of the U.S., she knew that making clothing in the U.S. would take some strategy and good luck.
USAFIS is an immigration service that many foreign nationals turn to when they want to relocate to the United States to find a new job and start a new life. While Ramesh did have some problems getting started, she is thankful that America offered her the opportunity to become a successful entrepreneur.
Ramesh is proud of what she has accomplished, and she shows her gratitude to the United States by having “Made in the USA” stitched onto each garment. Manufacturing clothes in the U.S. is about 20% more expensive than having it outsourced, but Ramesh believes that the quality of American-made clothes makes it worth the money.
You can contact USAFIS to get information on how to fill out an application for U.S. immigration.
